I have had this ten gallon tank for
about three years and it has been the most fascinating little project I
have ever done. For the duration of keeping this "nano-reef," I have customized
the tank to fit things that would have not been made for such tanks, e.g.
bak pak skimmer, power compacts, size, et al. I now consider my tank to
be a rather mature tank since, it can adapt and handle the types of conditions
that accompany small aquariums.
Inhabitants: ~20 20lbs Fiji live rock. Some yellow
polyp coral that has other zoanthids alongside.
Circulation: 1 600 rio power head.
Additions: Adding 1.0 mL Iodine every so often.
And adding 2.5 mL B-Ionic. The make up water comes from supermarket-- it
is r/o processed. Salt is from Red Sea Fish pHarm.
